Beck tagged me in this, who is lowkey the Best Blogger™ there’s literally not a single one of her posts that I haven’t lol-ed at. Go follow her for a lifetime of free air supply.
Also where I live it’s Sweaty Girl Summer all year round, but 1000% ready to listen to Sweater Weather by The Neighborhood on repeat.
Hot Chocolate: What is your comfort book?
Re-read Harry potter till my eyes bleed
But also Howl’s Moving Castle because it’s wholesome and feels like being hugged by a sentient marshmallow.
Pumpkin Carving: What is your creative outlet?
THIS. Blogging even though it might not seem like it because my posts are usually more basic than sodium hydroxide (yes my mother was a chem teacher). But I also sometimes draw (very primitive stick figures) and sing (high-pitched screechy wounded animal noises)
Falling Leaves: Changes that appear bad but you secretly love?
Ugh I hate change unless you’re referring to the Taylor Swift bop, but I love when I make plans for people interact-y stuff and they fall through and then I have to pretend that I’m devastated but am secretly delighted and thanking every god for letting me stay in bed and read books. I spend 60% of my day on my bed but if it was up to me, it would be 90%.
Pumpkin Spiced Lattes: Something you love that other people tend to judge
I un-ironically like…sigh..minecraft videos. There’s something really comforting about the simplicity of a world made of blocks okay.
Bonfire Night: What makes you explode with joy?
That one video of a kid hugging a spider-man pinata instead of savagely hitting it. We must eliminate inequality, climate change and poverty so that this kid can live the life he deserves.
Fright Night: Favorite scary film or book
Film: Nightmare before Christmas yes I’m a wuss and proud. I used to be scared of split personalities because of this creepy movie that my sweet sister made me watch with her as a child (thanks asshole) but now I have more rational fears like butterflies.
Book: The Fault in Our Stars by John Green because what’s more terrifying than teenagers (says a 19 year old me)
Halloween Candy: Favorite thing to eat
Potato in all it’s glorious forms- fried, chip, french, on another potato. Get yourself a potato which is a potato. Fun fact: I once made potato into bio-degradable plastic for a biology project because of course I did my love knows no bounds.
Scarves: Your autumn ‘must have’ accessory
A mosquito bat, I said it before and I’ll say it again. I’m going to single-handedly yeet mosquitoes into extinction if I have to.
Fire: a book or film that burns your soul
Catching fire. GEDDIT? like fire=burn…I’ll just leave.
Toffee Apples: A book or film that seems one thing but really has a different inside
Okay so my friend told me The Chronicles of Narnia is actually a religious manifesto with a lot of parallels to Christianity and His Dark Materials is the exact opposite as in Anti-church and I never noticed I was being subtly manipulated like this, 10 year old me is shook.
I’m dying for sweater weather even though its the middle of October and I’m wearing shorts. Great answers!

Yes!! Potatoes are the best, and I’d definitely have to agree that Harry Potter is a wonderful comfort read. I especially love watching the movies at this time of the year ❤️
