Throwing a 5 year Blogiversary party!

Disclaimer: Technically my blogiversary was on May 8th but whatever cool kids arrive fashionably late to their own party(?). Fun fact: May 8th is also World Red Cross day, the day Coca-Cola was developed and Trisha Paytas’s birthday. Make of that what you will.

I wrote 5 posts in 2015, 9 posts in 2016, 16 posts in 2017 (I had super important exams that year and I was procrastinating via blog yayy) and 3 posts in 2018. Do I deserve to celebrate this highly inconsistent blogging milestone?

….but I’m still going to do this.

I did some research aka googled “it my blogiversary?? what to do?” and clicked the first link and apparently a lot of bloggers have giveaways…..*looks at my bank account* yeahhh that’s not going to happen. But also blog parties!!

Again, I don’t actually know what happens in a party because…..I’ve never been invited but I researched it aka googled “party how??” and here’s what I found:

• GAMES (we’re taking a Buzzfeed quiz)
• Music (alexa play Taylor Swift’s discography)
• Food (….ya that ain’t happening)
• Reminisce about past cringe experiences (react to my first post sigh)

First Post:

Thankfully my first post was only 214 words but non-thankfully it was titled- “HOWDY WORDPRESS-IANS”

So wordpress suggest that I “use this post to tell readers why you started this blog and what you plan to do with it”. While initially thoughts like ‘DON’T TELL ME WHAT TO DO’ roamed my mind, lack of other ideas led me to do just that. *whispers where are you creative juices?

idk but it’s been 5 years and I still haven’t found them. Actually though, I wasn’t even going to make this post but I didn’t know what else to write (send ideas pliss)

WHY YOU STARTED THIS BLOG YOU ASK WORDPRESS? well get your coffee and huddle up kids because it’s a pitifully short story, my first secret blog turned out to be not as secretive as I thought (damn you, person-who-exposed-my-blog) which led to the birth of this blog, fail me not secret blog-2

1) I don’t even drink coffee (I’m a fake adult). 2) OH GOD I FORGOT ABOUT MY OLD BLOG. So all my friends had a blog (none of them stuck with it though those suckers) so I made one too but I wanted it to be secret because idk spy stuff? I stupidly made a WeHeartIt account, linked the old blog in the bio and asked my friend to make an account too, please put the pieces of the puzzle together I’m getting war flashbacks. (I wish I could link my irl friends’ blog because they’re actually good and have English degrees but my cover will get blown)

WHAT YOU PLAN TO DO WITH IT YOU QUESTION? eh well…I am going to do…stuff with it..nice stuff.( nice answer brain) so as you might be able to tell I don’t know, hopefully the answer dawns to me in a few seconds….nope, nothing. I guess I shall do what I shall do. Yeah that totally sounds like a person whose got her life figured out.

EYYY still haven’t. It’s always nice to know absolutely nothing changed in 5 years.

Oh well I’m out of stuff to write about thus, I’m writing about how I’m out of things to write about to pass time. Okay this has been sufficiently awkward I will put myself out of this misery and say BYE.

Yes 15-year old me finally did something right and I will take her cue and also say BYE.
